Job summary

Liftpass is seeking an experienced or Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our Sydney team. You will own the design, development and delivery of automation control systems from concept through commissioning, and help shape how the controls function grows.

You will lead from the front on multi-million dollar material handling projects, with deep PLC experience (Siemens TIA Portal) and a hands-on approach to safety, documentation and client engagement in intralogistics settings.

Qualifications

Design control systems from scratch and lead onsite commissioning.
Strong PLC programming and Siemens TIA Portal experience.
Background in automated materials handling and intralogistics.
Experience on both new-build and retrofit projects.
Solid electrical knowledge and machine safety awareness.
Ability to produce specifications and technical documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead the commissioning of multi-million dollar materials handing systems.
Own controls delivery on projects from design to FAT, site commissioning and handover.
Shape engineering standards, templates and ways of working as the team grows.
Contribute to risk assessments and functional safety reviews.
Support installed sites by diagnosing faults, delivering upgrades and remote support.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to deliver integrated systems.
