Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a hands-on Team Leader Tree Maintenance to lead a small team of Arborists and Apprentices across streets, parks and open spaces. You will plan daily work, provide technical guidance, supervise safety and oversee pruning, removals, stump grinding and rigging as required.

Role requires practical outdoor leadership, a qualification in Arboriculture and experience supervising crews.

Qualifications

• Qualified Arborist with leadership experience in outdoor tree maintenance.
• Experience supervising Arborists and Apprentices in streets and parks.
• Strong focus on safety and team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Arborists and Apprentices across council areas.
• Coordinate pruning, removals, stump grinding and rigging as required.
