Job summary

Sante Recruitment is seeking a Consultant / Specialist Anaesthetist to join a major tertiary referral hospital in Darwin, Northern Territory. The role offers diverse, high-acuity anaesthesia across regional and remote medicine, with leadership and teaching opportunities.

The package exceeds up to AUD 450k per year, with visa sponsorship, relocation support and other benefits. IMG candidates are encouraged to apply and will be assessed for substantially comparable pathways.

Qualifications

• FANZCA or equivalent specialist qualification.
• Strong generalist anaesthetic skillset.
• Interest in regional, remote, retrieval, or trauma medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level anaesthesia across a broad case mix and high-acuity scenarios.
• Collaborate with ICU, Emergency Department and retrieval teams in a remote setting.
• Contribute to teaching, leadership and service development within a tertiary hospital.
