Job summary

Okta is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to design and deploy agentic AI solutions that accelerate the Product Development Life Cycle across global teams. You will write code and architect multi-agent systems handling Jira story generation, PR reviews, and pre-production deployments.

This role requires hands-on backend work with LLMs, and collaboration across US, India, and other regions, with strict enterprise security.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience in backend and SRE/DevOps practices.
• Proven experience building applications using LLMs and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Deep expertise interacting with REST/GraphQL APIs for enterprise tools.
• Strong background in deployment automation and multi-cloud Kubernetes environments.
• Experience collaborating with multi-geography engineering teams.
• Knowledge of security scanning and compliance in CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy multi-agent AI systems to automate complex software workflows.
• Integrate LLMs with internal tooling via APIs for semi-autonomous tasks.
• Develop tools for AI agents to safely interact with repositories, CI/CD, and project management.
• Create pipelines to generate Jira stories from PRDs and automate UI code generation.
• Build AI-driven PR review bots to assess code quality and security.
• Ensure deployments comply with security and regulatory standards.
