Job summary

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical Lead to provide end-to-end technical leadership across AI, GenAI and full-stack engineering initiatives in Brisbane and other client locations. This role demands hands-on expertise in Python, .NET, React, TypeScript, and AWS, with a focus on scalable cloud design, security, and modern DevSecOps practices.

The successful candidate will drive architecture, mentor teams, review designs and code, and shape engineering standards while delivering

Qualifications

• Strong experience as a Technical Lead, Senior Engineer or equivalent.
• Hands-on full-stack and cloud engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across AI/GenAI, Python, .NET, React, TypeScript and AWS.
• Define solution approaches, technical patterns, engineering standards and best practices.
• Design and lead implementation of AI agents, LLM solutions, RAG, semantic search and knowledge retrieval.
• Lead technical design reviews, code reviews and key technical decisions.
• Design scalable, resilient and secure AWS cloud architectures.
• Guide development of React/TypeScript frontends and Python/.NET backend services and APIs.
• Drive engineering practices including CI/CD, automated testing, DevSecOps, observability and infrastructure as code.
