Job summary

Commonwealth Bank of Australia in Sydney CBD seeks an Advanced Analytics Manager within the Insights and Decision Science Chapter. You will deliver BI, reporting, and advanced analytics to support strategic decision‑making using SQL, Python, and VS Code.

You will work with data from CommSec and Group platforms to provide actionable insights across compliance, risk, and customer initiatives, develop dashboards, and drive AI/ML readiness for the COE.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering advanced analytics in complex environments using statistical and machine-learning techniques.
• Proven ability to manipulate, analyse and model large-scale datasets with scalable practices.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality and automated analytical workflows.
• Strong IT SDLC, Agile delivery, and ability to document specifications clearly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver BI, reporting and advanced analytics solutions to support strategic decisions.
• Develop dashboards and perform impact and trend analyses for business teams.
• Provide actionable insights to improve risk management and customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with Risk, Digital and Product teams to shape analytics backlog.
• Upskill the COE in Advanced Analytics and enable AI/ML foundations.
