Job summary

Sparke Helmore in Sydney is seeking a junior lawyer to work across Commonwealth jurisdictions with self-insurers and Government agencies on statutory matters, claims management and litigated proceedings. You will gain regular advocacy exposure in the Administrative Review Tribunal, supported by experienced practitioners who will mentor you.

About you

You will have approximately 1-3 years' post-admission experience gained in insurance, litigation, administrative law or a related practice area.

Experience in statutory compensation matters is advantageous but not essential, we are equally interested in candidates who are keen to develop their expertise in this area.

You will have strong analytical, drafting and communication skills, together with a willingness to learn and take ownership of your work.
