Job summary

Naiman Clarke in Sydney is seeking a planning and environment lawyer with 3–4 years’ PQE to join a top-tier Australian firm. You will advise on planning approvals, environmental regulation, and major infrastructure projects via a mix of advisory and litigation work.

Working closely with partners, you’ll handle land compensation, development strategy, and Land and Environment Court proceedings while benefiting from 3:2 hybrid arrangements and five weeks’ annual leave.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years PQE in planning, environment, or local government law.
• Knowledge of NSW planning laws desirable.
• Strong technical legal skills and drafting ability.
• Excellent communication and client management skill
• Commercial judgement and confidence working on complex matters

The work spans major project delivery, strategic advisory and complex disputes, giving you broad exposure across the full lifecycle of significant developments.

The ideal candidate:

• 3 – 4 years PQE in planning, environment, or local government law.
