Job summary

Empire Group in Melbourne is seeking junior–mid level lawyers to work on sensitive historical abuse matters within a values‑driven, in‑house environment. Perfect for defendant or plaintiff PI lawyers looking for purposeful work, steady hours, and supportive guidance.

You will run end‑to‑end claims, prepare for mediation, collaborate with insurers and external lawyers, and attend mediations and settlement conferences.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years PAE in PI, institutional liability or civil claims.
• Ability to handle sensitive subject matter with maturity and care.
• Clear communication and a calm, steady presence.

Responsibilities

• Run historical abuse claims end‑to‑end with professionalism and discretion.
• Prepare matters for mediation and settlement.
