Job summary

• Approx. 3–5 years PQE with Australian practicing certificate.
• Strong corporate law experience across M&A, capital raisings and governance.
• Solid fundamentals suitable for broadening corporate exposure.

Responsibilities

• Work on a broad range of corporate and transactional matters.
• Advise on private and public M&A, capital raisings and governance.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents with practical commercial advice.

About the role:

• Work across a broad range of corporate and transactional matters
• Advise on private and public M&A, capital raisings and corporate governance
• Draft and negotiate transaction documents and provide practical commercial advice
• Work closely with clients throughout transactions and ongoing corporate matters
• Take meaningful ownership of matters while working closely with experienced partners
• Contribute to a high-performing team that is continuing to grow its corporate practice

The ideal candidate:

• Approximately 3-5 years PQE with a current Australian practicing certificate
• Strong corporate law experience, ideally across at least two of M&A, capital raisings and corporate governance
• Candidates with solid corporate fundamentals who are looking to broaden their experience will also be considered
• Strong drafting, analytical and commercial skills
• A genuine desire to develop into an excellent corporate lawyer and take ownership of your work
• Collaborative, commercially minded and comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-expectation environment
