Job summary

Zeeora Advisory in Sydney is seeking a Lawyer with around 2-4 PQE to join our busy banking and finance team. You will work closely with senior lawyers and partners on live deals across facilities, acquisition finance, and project finance.

You will draft and negotiate facility and security documents, interact directly with clients and opposing counsel, and gain real deal exposure earlier in your career. The role offers mentoring and clear progression toward senior work.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' PQE in banking & finance, or strong corporate/commercial experience with real transactional exposure.
• Solid drafting, good commercial judgment, and appetite to take on more responsibility.
• Experience across syndicated and bilateral facilities, acquisition finance, real estate and project finance.
• Experience drafting and negotiating facility and security documents.

Job description

A busy Sydney banking & finance team is looking for a Lawyer, around 2-4 PQE, to join the practice and work closely with senior lawyers and partners on live deals.

About the role

You'll work across syndicated and bilateral facilities, acquisition finance, real estate and project finance, and some structured finance, drafting and negotiating facility and security documents, and dealing directly with clients and the other side rather than sitting behind the scenes. Clients range from major banks and non-bank lenders through to borrowers, sponsors and funds, so the work doesn't sit still on one type of deal.

What you'll bring

Around 2-4 years' PQE in banking & finance, or strong corporate/commercial experience with real transactional exposure, ideally from a top-tier or well-known specialist firm. Solid drafting, good commercial judgment, and the appetite to take on more responsibility than you're probably getting right now.
