Qualifications

• Doctoral qualification in law (conferred, under examination, or near completion).
• Demonstrated experience teaching and supporting student learning in undergraduate/postgraduate legal education.
• Ability to develop, coordinate and deliver courses covering Priestley 11 prescribed areas of knowledge for admission to legal practice.
• Evidence of innovative curriculum, learning materials, and assessment practices.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence supported by evaluations and awards.
• Experience in educational leadership and mentoring colleagues.
• Ability to supervise undergraduate and/or postgraduate student research.

Responsibilities

• Teach compulsory and elective law courses across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
• Coordinate courses, develop innovative curriculum and assessment materials.
• Enhance student learning and engagement through evidence-based teaching practices.
• Lead in teaching practice, educational innovation, and scholarly mentoring.
• Engage in citizenship and service to support the School and University.
