A government agency is seeking experienced Law Interpretation Officers to provide technical advice and contribute to policy development. We are seeking highly experienced Law Interpretation Officers to join our Law Design and Practice business lines and our Compliance and Engagement Group. As a Law Interpretation Officer, you will provide technical advice and/or contribute to policy development and law design, while also guiding others to deliver high quality advice and other formal documents to both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll set priorities, manage workflows, allocate resources, and develop local strategies and practices. You’ll also evaluate business outcomes and apply your deep subject matter expertise to resolve complex and sensitive issues.
You will apply your extensive knowledge and experience to provide professional leadership across a range of activities, including offering clear, well informed recommendations and strategic advice to senior leadership on matters related to law interpretation, policy development, and law design.
These roles may be offered on an ongoing or non-ongoing basis in Adelaide, Albury, Box Hill (VIC), Brisbane CBD, Canberra, Dandenong, Geelong, Gosford, Hobart, Melbourne CBD, Moonee Ponds, Newcastle, Parramatta, Perth, Sydney CBD, Townsville, Upper Mount Gravatt or Wollongong.
