Job summary

The University of Sydney Law School is seeking a Career Development and Industry Engagement Officer to support undergraduate and postgraduate law students. The role offers a Full-time fixed term position with a base salary of AUD 117,133 – 127,610 plus 17% superannuation.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent combination of education, training and demonstrated experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build effective relationships.
• Ability to analyse information, apply sound judgement and develop practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored career development services, workshops and employability programs to undergraduate and postgraduate law students.
• Identify student career development needs and design innovative programs, resources and initiatives.
• Provide individual career coaching and guidance to assist students in achieving goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, industry partners, alumni and professional associations.
• Develop and manage industry engagement activities, including networking events and career skills workshops.
• Create and maintain engaging career-related content across digital platforms and LMS.
• Evaluate effectiveness of career development programs and services and support continuous improvement.
• Promote career development programs through targeted marketing and communication.
