Job summary

JW Marriott Surfers Paradise is seeking a meticulous Laundry Attendant to ensure all uniforms and linen from guest rooms and outlets are washed, pressed and returned in pristine condition, supporting our hotel’s commitment to exceptional hospitality.

You will operate laundry machinery, manage the linen room, and maintain high standards of cleanliness while following Workplace Health and Safety policies to provide guests with the clean, fresh ambience they expect from JW Marriott.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct usage of all equipment
• Maintain linen room and equipment in high standard of cleanliness and repair
• Comply with and demonstrate awareness of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Washing, drying, pressing and folding clean linen from rooms and outlets
• Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals and cleaning lint traps.

About the role

As a laundry attendant you will be making sure all uniforms, linen from our rooms and the restaurant are washed, pressed and returned allowing our team members to provide true hospitality to all of our guests. It's up to you to ensure that all washed linen is looking fresh and clean.
