Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant at McQuoin Park in Waitara, NSW. This permanent full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, delivering high-quality laundry services for residents and ensuring personal items are clean and well presented.

You will collect, wash, fold and distribute clothing, support teammates, and follow safety policies to protect yourself, colleagues and residents.

• Willingness to obtain Police Check and NDIS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide laundry services including collecting, washing, folding and distributing items to resident rooms.

• Location - Waitara
• Permanent Full-time (Mon-Fri 7AM-3PM).
• Pay rate – $33.20 per hour + superannuation
• Not-for-profit employer, so pay less tax!

As a member of the Housekeeping team at McQuoin Park, you will be providing high quality laundry services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents belongings are clean and presentable.

About the Role:

• Provide laundry services which includes collecting and washing personal clothing, folding and sorting, distributing personal items back to resident rooms
• Supporting your peers and maintaining a co operative team spirit
• Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
