ACOS Personnel is seeking an experienced Laser Specialist or someone willing to undergo company-paid training in a busy Sydney CBD tattoo removal studio. You will perform safe laser tattoo removal and consult with clients, ensuring clear expectations and aftercare.

The role emphasizes patient care, safety protocols and ongoing professional development within a supportive team. Ideal candidates have hands-on laser experience and strong customer service skills, with a genuine interest in advancing

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform laser tattoo removal treatments using Candela PicoWay technology.
• Follow laser safety, treatment and infection-control procedures.
• Consult with clients and explain the tattoo removal process and aftercare.
• Maintain accurate client treatment records.
• Build trust and relationships with clients throughout treatment.
• Keep treatment rooms and equipment well-presented and ready for use.
• Adhere to established treatment protocols.
• Work as part of a professional studio team.

Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Laser Specialist or someone keen to undergo company‑paid training, to join an established tattoo removal studio in the Sydney CBD. This role suits someone with hands‑on laser treatment experience and/or a strong interest in learning the craft of tattoo removal, who is also comfortable engaging with clients in a professional treatment setting.

You don't need previous tattoo removal experience — what matters most is that you have genuine laser experience, understand the importance of safe treatment practices, and are confident working directly with clients.

Your new varied role...

As a Laser Specialist, you will be responsible for providing safe, professional laser tattoo removal treatments while creating a positive and supportive experience for every client including;

• Performing laser tattoo removal treatments using Candela PicoWay® technology
• Following strict laser safety, treatment and infection‑control procedures
• Consulting with clients and clearly explaining the tattoo removal process, treatment expectations and aftercare
• Providing honest and realistic information around treatment outcomes
• Maintaining accurate and detailed client treatment records
• Building trust and strong relationships with clients throughout their treatment journey
• Maintaining treatment rooms, laser equipment and general studio presentation
• Following established treatment protocols and procedures
• Working as part of a professional and supportive studio team
• Completing ongoing training to further develop your laser and tattoo removal knowledge

We are looking for someone who:

• Has approximately 6 months of hands‑on laser treatment experience or keen to undertake training
• Is confident operating a laser in a professional treatment environment
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills
• Is comfortable consulting with clients and explaining treatment processes
• Can provide clear aftercare advice and manage client expectations
• Is reliable, professional and takes pride in their work
• Is comfortable working in a busy studio environment
• Is genuinely interested in developing their expertise in laser tattoo removal
• Previous tattoo removal experience is beneficial but not essential. If you have practical laser treatment experience you can be the perfect person to join the team.

Up to $36 per hour + Super + 133% Saturday rates + Commission

Permanent full‑time position

Tuesday to Saturday roster (Sundays and Mondays off)

Hours

Tuesday: 9:45am – 6:15pm

Thursday: 10:45am – 7:15pm

Friday: 9:45am – 5:15pm

Saturday: 8:45am – 4:15pm (Saturday availability is essential)
