Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking reliable General Labourers to join their workforce in the Melbourne region. The role offers immediate start, consistent shifts, and strong weekly pay with superannuation and a travel allowance.

Operate across construction, landscaping, warehouse fit-outs and shopfitting projects, performing site prep, material handling and assisting trades. A White Card and valid licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Work across industries including landscaping, construction, warehouse fit-outs, and shopfitting.
• Site preparation, digging, lifting, and material handling.
• Assist qualified tradespeople and perform general labouring duties.
• Maintain site cleanliness and assist with final cleans.
• Adhere to safety and PPE requirements.
