Job summary

HL Landscapes is seeking an experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead civil landscape projects, overseeing daily site operations across active construction sites and coordinating crews, subcontractors and materials. You will ensure work is delivered safely, to specification, and with strong client communication.

Ideal candidates bring MRTS knowledge, a Cert III in Landscape Construction, and proven leadership in large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Leadership and site management experience on civil landscape projects.
• Strong understanding of landscape construction and site delivery.
• Experience with MRTS specifications and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operations across active landscape construction sites.
• Supervising leading hands, crews and subcontractors.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Coordinating materials, labour and equipment across the site.
• Liaising with project managers, tier 1 and principal contractors.

HL Landscapes is delivering major infrastructure, streetscape and commercial landscaping projects across South East Queensland, and we’re looking for an experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead sites and support project delivery?

This is a leadership role for someone who understands how civil landscape sites run and is confident managing crews, subcontractors and day-to-day site operations?

What’s On Offer

• $100,000 – $115,000 + super (depending on experience)

• Average 41–42 hour weeks, occasional up to 45 hours

What You’ll Be Doing:

Overseeing daily operations across active landscape construction sites

• Supervising leading hands, crews and subcontractors
  
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification
  
• Coordinating materials, labour and equipment across the site
  
• Liaising with site project managers, tier 1 contractors and principal contractors
  
• Maintaining strong client-facing communication
  
• Monitoring quality control and addressing defects or rework

• Completing site documentation, reports and project updates
  
• Supporting the successful delivery of civil landscape projects
  
• Civil landscaping & infrastructure works

Typical projects include large-scale infrastructure and transport corridor works across SE Queensland.

Requirements

What You Bring

• Previous experience with a tier 1 or large commercial landscape contractor
• Strong understanding of landscape construction and site delivery
  
• Experience with MRTS specifications
  
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills
  
• A resilient personality to managing complex civil project environments
• Cert III Landscape Construction or similar highly regarded.
• Ability to manage crews, subcontractors and multiple site activities
• Confident communicating with project managers, engineers and clients
• Experience reading plans and coordinating site works
• Strong safety awareness and knowledge of site compliance
• White Card and manual driver’s licence
• MR licence advantageous
