Job summary

HL Landscapes is seeking a Landscape Supervisor to lead civil landscape projects in SE Queensland from Springwood. You’ll manage crews, subcontractors, and day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety and adherence to specifications on large-scale infrastructure works.

The role offers progression within a structured company, a long-term project pipeline, and a dual cab ute, with uniforms, PPE and tools supplied. Expect ~41–42 hour weeks with occasional nights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with a tier 1 or large commercial landscape contractor.
• Strong understanding of landscape construction and site delivery.
• Experience with MRTS specifications.
• Professional presentation and strong communication skills.
• A resilient personality for managing complex civil project environments.
• Cert III Landscape Construction or equivalent highly regarded.
• Ability to manage crews, subcontractors and multiple site activities.
• Confident communicating with project managers, engineers and clients.
• Experience reading plans and coordinating site works.
• Strong safety awareness and knowledge of site compliance.
• White Card and manual driver’s licence.
• MR licence advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervising leading hands, crews and subcontractors.
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification.
• Coordinating materials, labour and equipment across the site.
• Liaising with site project managers, tier 1 contractors and principal contractors.
• Maintaining strong client-facing communication.
• Monitoring quality control and addressing defects or rework.
• Ensuring SWMS and site safety requirements are followed.
• Completing site documentation, reports and project updates.
• Supporting the successful delivery of civil landscape projects.

HL Landscapes is delivering major infrastructure, streetscape and commercial landscaping projects across South East Queensland, and we’re looking for an experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead sites and support project delivery.

This is a leadership role for someone who understands how civil landscape sites run and is confident managing crews, subcontractors and day-to-day site operations.
