Ready to lead a landscape maintenance team without giving up the hands‑on work you enjoy?
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a small crew, work across exceptional residential gardens and join an established landscaping business that backs its people with quality equipment, good systems and genuine support.
You’ll have responsibility for your team and the standard of work delivered, while still being hands‑on and doing what you enjoy.
Why This Role Is Worth a Look
More Than Just Leading a Crew
Good Team Leaders need good people around them.
You’ll be joining a landscaping business that places just as much importance on its people as it does on the standard of its work.
There’s a genuine family feel within the company. People know each other, help each other out and are encouraged to speak up, contribute ideas and take ownership of what they do.
The expectations around quality are high, but you’ll be given the equipment, systems and support to deliver it.
It’s a friendly, down‑to‑earth environment where good work is recognised and people who want to develop are given opportunities to do so.
Your Role
You’ll take responsibility for a small maintenance crew and the day-to-day delivery of quality garden maintenance across high‑end residential properties throughout Brisbane.
This is very much a hands‑on leadership role.
You’ll be working alongside your team while also making sure jobs run efficiently, standards are maintained and clients receive the level of service they expect.
Your responsibilities will include:
What We’re Looking For
You might already be running a garden maintenance crew, or you could be an experienced gardener who has naturally become the person others turn to and is ready to officially step into leadership.
Either way, you’ll need strong practical garden maintenance skills and the confidence to take responsibility for both people and outcomes.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
A horticultural qualification would be highly regarded, but practical experience, leadership ability and the right attitude are equally important.
Take Ownership of Your Next Role
If you enjoy being on the tools but are ready for more responsibility, this gives you the opportunity to lead without becoming stuck behind a desk.
You’ll have your own crew, quality equipment, a company vehicle and the support of an established business behind you.
And, if you want to continue progressing beyond Team Leader, there are opportunities to develop further within the business over time.
If you’re looking for a leadership role where quality work, good people and a strong team culture still matter, we’d like to hear from you.
