GreenEdge Solutions QLD is seeking an Landscape Maintenance Operator / Team Lead to supervise a small crew across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You will manage daily schedules, ensure quality, and perform mowing, edging, pruning, and turf installs while maintaining high standards on residential, body corporate and commercial sites.

The role requires leadership, strong grounds maintenance experience, and proficiency with ServiceM8 and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial grounds maintenance and landscaping.
• Proven leadership ability to confidently lead a crew.
• Ability to operate commercial mowers and maintenance equipment.
• Excellent client communication and professional presentation.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to tow trailers.
• Smartphone proficiency and use of job management software.

Landscape Maintenance Operator / Team Lead

Lead and coordinate a small grounds maintenance crew for GreenEdge Solutions QLD, a Queensland-owned business specialising in body corporate, strata, commercial and residential grounds maintenance. You will manage daily schedules, job completion and productivity across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, carrying out commercial mowing, edging, whipper snipping, hedging, pruning and garden maintenance and turf installs.

Key responsibilities

Lead and coordinate a small grounds maintenance crew

Carry out commercial mowing, edging, whipper snipping, hedging, pruning and garden maintenance and turf installs

Maintain high standards across all residential, body corporate and commercial properties

Conduct quality checks and ensure sites are left clean and presentable

Use ServiceM8 to follow job instructions, upload photos and complete job notes

Manage vehicle, trailer and equipment pre-starts and report maintenance requirements

Communicate professionally with clients and management

Identify additional work, report issues and take ownership of problems

Maintain safe work practices and hold the team accountable

About you

Strong experience in commercial grounds maintenance and landscaping

Previous leadership experience or the ability to confidently lead a crew

Skilled in operating commercial mowers and grounds maintenance equipment

Reliable, organised, proactive and accountable

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Confident communicating with clients and staff

Current driver's licence and confident towing trailers

Basic mechanical knowledge and good problem-solving skills

Comfortable using smartphones and job management software
