Job summary

HCC Australia is looking for a grounds maintenance team member to work across SEQ. You will perform lawn mowing, edging, hedge pruning, mulching, and site upkeep while maintaining equipment and reporting issues through our app.

This role offers a clear progression path from crew member to crew leader, with a focus on reliability, safety, and diligent work across multiple sites in the region.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence required.
• Experience with mowers, whipper snippers and hedgers.
• A police check, or willing to get one.
• NDIS worker screening, or willing to get one for some sites.
• A smartphone for the job app.

Responsibilities

• Mow, edge, whipper snip and blow down lawns.
• Trim hedges, prune shrubs and keep garden beds weeded and tidy.
• Spread mulch and remove green waste.
• Spot and report irrigation problems, and help with repairs.
• Take before and after photos of every job in the app.
• Look after the ute, trailer and gear: clean, fuelled and maintained.
• Work through your daily run of sites on time.
