Job summary

Select People / Apprentice Recruit is seeking a hands-on Leading Hand/Junior Foreman for Brisbane-based commercial landscaping projects. This role is outdoors, on-site, and involves leading a small crew, reading landscape plans, and supervising drainage, irrigation basics and general construction on busy sites.

Trade-qualified landscaper with a strong work ethic is essential. You will liaise with builders, coordinate materials, ensure safety and quality, and have progression opportunities across

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified landscaper is a must.
• Physically fit and reliable.
• Confident reading landscape plans and setting out works.

Responsibilities

Join a well-established landscaping company delivering high-quality commercial projects across SEQ. With a strong pipeline of ongoing work, were looking for a capable Leading Hand/Junior Foreman to join the Brisbane team.

About the Company

Our client is a respected, family-owned commercial landscaping business working across Brisbane and SEQ. They partner with major builders and developers on a wide variety of projects, including high-rise surrounds, townhouse communities, schools, industrial estates, aged-care facilities and government infrastructure.

With multiple projects underway, they are seeking a hands-on, reliable operator to step into a key role within the team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who has completed their landscaping trade and is ready to step up into a leadership role while still working on the tools.

You will

• Lead day-to-day operations on commercial job sites

Work is Brisbane-based, with only minimal Gold Coast travel.If you live on the south side of Brisbane, this would be the ideal location.

• Trade-qualified landscaper (or similar).
• Strong work ethic, reliable, trustworthy.
• Physically fit and enjoys hands-on work.
• Competent with machinery and general landscape construction.
• Confident reading plans and setting out works.
• Comfortable dealing with builders and subbies.
• Keen for long-term growth and progression.
• Plant knowledge (incl. botanical names) is highly regarded.
