Job summary

Great Gardens Landscaping, a commercial landscaping contractor serving the Mid North Coast, invites hands-on professionals to join a busy crew across landscape construction, maintenance, revegetation and environmental works. This role suits someone who enjoys varied outdoor tasks and contributing to large-scale projects.

You'll work with supervisors and Leading Hands on diverse sites, performing lawn care, planting, mulching, soil prep, weed control and machinery operation.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. One day you could be building a landscape, the next maintaining established gardens or working on a large-scale revegetation project.

Great Gardens Landscaping is a commercial landscaping contractor working across the Mid North Coast on landscaping, garden maintenance, revegetation, environmental and civil projects.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety. One day you could be building a landscape, the next maintaining established gardens or working on a large-scale revegetation project.

THE ROLE

You'll work alongside our Supervisors and Leading Hands across a range of projects.

Your work may include:

• Landscape construction and installation
• Commercial garden maintenance
• Mowing, edging, whipper snipping and pruning
• Weed management and control
• Planting and revegetation
• Mulching and soil preparation
• Turf installation
• Hydro mulching and seeding
• Environmental rehabilitation
• General site preparation and labouring
• Using hand tools, power tools and machinery
• Large commercial and civil projects

You don't need to know how to do everything.

If you have a good work ethic, a willingness to learn and aren't afraid to get stuck in, we'll help you build the skills you need.

Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, garden maintenance, civil construction, agriculture or similar is highly regarded.

EXPERIENCE & TICKETS

We'd particularly like to hear from applicants with:

• Landscaping or horticulture experience
• Commercial garden maintenance experience
• White Card - MUST HAVE
• Chemical Certificate
• Forklift Licence
• MR / HR / HC Licence
• Excavator, loader or skid steer experience
• Other machinery tickets or relevant qualifications

HOURS & PAY

This is a casual position with no fixed or guaranteed hours.

Work is offered based on project requirements, weather, workload and the needs of the business.

Put simply: when the sun is shining, we're working.

As our work is outdoors, weather can affect when and where we work. Some weeks may have more hours available than others.

$36.66 per hour – Level 1C Casual Rate
