Job summary

Stockland is seeking a dedicated Landscape Gardener to deliver high-quality landscaping and garden maintenance across our communities. The role involves practical hands-on work, water management during hot periods, and collaboration with a close-knit team to meet safety and quality standards.

You will join a supportive group focused on creating beautiful outdoor spaces for residents, with an emphasis on practical skills, reliability and a positive team mindset.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Landscaping, Horticulture or a related qualification is required.
• Demonstrated landscaping and gardening experience, ideally in construction or installation.
• Strong knowledge of landscape installation, maintenance and plant care practices.
• Construction White Card and experience using hand tools, power tools and landscaping equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery, installation and maintenance of landscaping and garden works across the community.
• Undertake landscaping, gardening and maintenance activities with safety and efficiency in mind.
• Assist with installation, care and maintenance of landscape and garden products and assets.
• Collaborate with team members, customers and contractors to maintain presentation and quality.
• Contribute to creating vibrant outdoor spaces that reflect Stockland’s commitment to quality communities.

We’re Looking For

A skilled and motivated Landscape Gardener who takes pride in delivering exceptional landscaping and garden maintenance outcomes while working safely and collaboratively as part of a close knit team.

You will be available to work Monday to Friday between 6:30am to 3:00pm, with occasional weekend work required. During periods of hot weather, you will be responsible for watering newly planted gardens and turf, which may involve up to 2 hours of work over the weekend at a time that suits you to ensure plants are maintained and established successfully

What You’ll Do

• As a permanent full time member of the Halcyon team, you’ll support the delivery, installation and maintenance of landscaping and garden works across the community.
• Undertake landscaping, gardening and maintenance activities as directed by the Landscape Supervisor, ensuring high quality results are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Assist with the installation, care and ongoing maintenance of landscape and garden related products and assets.
• Work collaboratively with team members, customers and external contractors to maintain the presentation and quality of the community.
• Contribute to creating vibrant and welcoming outdoor spaces that enhance the resident experience and reflect Stockland’s commitment to quality communities.

Experience & Skills That Count

• Certificate III in Landscaping, Horticulture or a related qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in landscaping and gardening, ideally within a construction or installation focused environment.
• Strong knowledge of landscape installation, maintenance and plant care practices.
• Construction White Card and experience using hand tools, power tools and landscaping equipment.
