Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking reliable general labourers/trade assistants for ongoing casual assignments across construction, landscaping, shopfitting and industrial sites in Queensland. Roles involve varied tasks, physical work, and potential pathways to permanent employment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 12 months' on-site labour experience, a Construction White Card, a valid driver's license and a strong work ethic. PPE is required from the worker.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Support tradespeople with on-site tasks across landscaping, construction, warehouse fit-outs and shopfitting.
• Site prep, clean-up and material handling.
• Lifting, digging, trenching and general labouring duties.
• Assist qualified tradespeople and maintain clean, safe work areas.
