Job summary

Australian Training Company invites you to join a hands-on landscape apprenticeship in Newcastle, NSW. You’ll spend time outdoors building commercial landscapes from schools to parks, while earning a nationally recognised qualification.

You’ll learn excavation, paving, retaining walls, turf and planting, irrigation, reading plans, and safe use of machinery. A strong work ethic and teamwork are valued; a White Card and driver’s licence are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with excavation and site preparation as you learn on the job.
• Support paving and concreting tasks under supervision.
• Contribute to constructing retaining walls and turf/planting projects.
• Read landscape plans and interpret specifications.
• Operate basic power tools safely on commercial landscape sites.
