Job summary

Green Care Project in Brisbane is seeking a Landscape Construction 2IC to lead high-end residential landscapes. You will work closely with the Site Foreman, supervising crews, coordinating tasks and ensuring top-quality finishes on each project.

You will perform hands-on construction while helping manage the team, maintain schedules and uphold safety standards across multiple Brisbane sites. A strong eye for detail and reliable communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years practical experience in landscape construction
• Certificate III in Landscape Construction held
• Experience supervising, coordinating and supporting on-site teams
• Pride in delivering quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Confident working independently and organizing tasks on site
• Clear communicator, team player and strong WHS understanding
• Current driver's licence and White Card
• Bobcat and Skid steer proficiency; MR licence advantageous
• Experience reading/building off plans is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of landscape construction works including paving, concreting, retaining walls, irrigation, drainage, planting and detailed finishes
• Support Site Foreman with daily site organisation, task allocation and material deliveries
• Guide and support team members to work efficiently and maintain high standards
• Monitor project progress, timelines and quality of workmanship
• Maintain a safe, organised and productive worksite
• Take responsibility for day-to-day site operations when the Site Foreman is away

We're looking for an experienced Landscape Construction 2IC (Second in Charge) to join the Green Care Project construction team, working on high-end residential projects across Brisbane.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a minimum of 3 years practical experience in landscape construction
• Holds a Certificate III in Landscape Construction
• Has experience supervising, coordinating and supporting team members on-site
• Takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and has strong attention to detail
• Is confident working independently, organising tasks and supporting the day-to-day running of projects
• Communicates clearly, works well with others and contributes positively to team culture
• Has strong organisational skills and a sound understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS)
• Holds a current driver's licence and White Card
• Bobcat and Skid steer proficient
• An MR truck licence and experience in high-end residential is highly regarded.
• Experience reading and building off plans is advantageous.

What you can expect your days to look like:

Working closely with and reporting to the Site Foreman, you'll play an important role in bringing high-end residential landscapes to life.

You’ll be hands-on in the construction process while helping coordinate the team, maintain quality standards and keep projects running smoothly.
