HL Landscapes is recruiting a Landscape Commercial Labourer to join our crew delivering commercial landscaping projects across Brisbane's north and west. You will work on hands-on construction and site support under the Leading Hand, helping achieve setout, level and finish with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

You will gain experience across landscape trades, from softworks to hardscape elements, on landmark SE Queensland infrastructure and commercial projects, with on-the-job training

Qualifications

• White Card and full rights to work in Australia.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable outdoors and capable of physical tasks.
• Experience in landscape construction or civil works desirable.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools; tickets such as skid steer or excavator desirable.

Responsabilités

• Assist Leading Hand with site setup, material handling and prep.
• Help with retaining walls, fencing, decks, paving, turf and drainage works.
• Prepare soil, mulch, plant trees and establish garden areas.
• Follow drawings, check levels, and raise issues to the Leading Hand.
• Follow SWMS, permits, and safety zones; operate tools only when trained.
• Be a reliable crew member and develop skills across landscape trades.
• Keep the work front clean, store tools, report delays or missing materials.

HL Landscapes is recruiting a Landscape Commercial Labourer to join our crew delivering commercial landscaping projects across Brisbane's north and west. Working as part of a site crew under the Leading Hand, you'll deliver commercial and civil structural and soft landscaping works. You'll carry out hands-on construction and site support safely and to specification, helping the crew achieve the setout, level and finish HL Landscapes is known for.

Our teams work across complex, high-profile projects where safety, quality, programme and workmanship matter.

What you will do

Site Delivery: Carry out daily tasks as allocated by the Leading Hand, assisting with work front setup, material handling and site preparation

Landscape Construction: Assist with retaining walls, fencing, pergolas, decking, raised garden beds, concreting, paving, turf, drainage and irrigation works

Softworks: Carry out soil preparation, mulching, planting and tree and garden establishment

Quality: Work to drawings, setout and levels as directed, check your own work as you go and raise any issues with the Leading Hand straight away

Safety Compliance: Follow SWMS, permits and exclusion zones, attend toolbox talks, and operate tools and plant only when trained and authorised

Teamwork and Development: Be a reliable crew member and build skills across the commercial landscaping trades through on-the-job training

Site Control: Keep the work front clean and organised, with tools and materials properly stored, and report anything that slows or stops the work (access issues, missing materials, damaged work)

About you

White Card, a valid Australian driver's licence and full rights to work in Australia

Reliable, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn

Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out physical tasks as part of a team

Committed to safe work practices and following SWMS

Experience in landscape construction, civil works or similar physical work (desirable)

Knowledge of hand tools, power tools and equipment, and tickets such as skid steer or excavator (desirable)
