Blacktown City Council is seeking a Landscape Architect to design and manage park and open space projects from concept to completion. You will engage with residents, produce landscape designs and tender documents, and coordinate contractors to deliver high-quality public spaces for a growing city.

The role offers a 35-hour week, a term contract up to 2 years, and a range of benefits including a car allowance, flextime and 12% superannuation with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Formación

• Qualified Landscape Architect
• Consult with residents to understand facilities they need
• Prepare landscape designs, specifications and tender documents
• Coordinate contractors and consultants
• Oversee construction works and manage project budgets, contracts and timeframes
• Prepare Council reports and provide landscape advice to other Council teams and the community

Responsabilidades

• Design and manage reserve development and landscape improvement projects from design through construction
• Consult with residents to understand facilities they need
• Prepare landscape designs, specifications and tender documents; manage tender process
• Coordinate contractors and consultants; oversee construction works
• Manage project budgets, contracts and timeframes
• Prepare Council reports and provide landscape advice to other teams and the community
