Architectus Landscape in Sydney is seeking a proactive Landscape Architect to join a growing studio and contribute to public domain, open space, master planning, education and health projects.
You will assist from concept through documentation, develop technical knowledge of materials, construction methods and Australian standards, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality outcomes while growing your design capability and professional skills.
Architectus Landscape is one of Australia’s newest landscape design studios, combining extensive local and international expertise with a passionate team of designers to create meaningful, lasting impact for people, communities, cities, and the environment.
We understand that each project sits within Country and has a distinct context; each project serves particular stakeholders; and each project is guided by a specific brief. Architectus Landscape generates a unique proposition for each site - derived from a Sense of Place - that permeates across scales and infuses every detail of our work.
With studios in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, we are a national team partnering across the Architectus network and with external collaborators to shape projects from the outset.
Our Sydney landscape studio has been successfully running and growing since its inception over three years ago, making this an exciting time to join our team. Our work spans major public domain and infrastructure projects, through to hospitals and leading education projects, as well as urban living projects.
Backed by a well-established national firm, you will have the stability and pipeline of a large business, combined with the pace and visibility of a growing landscape team. This offers a genuine opportunity to get hands-on, develop quickly, make a real impact, and importantly, to influence the continued refinement of our vision.
We are looking for someone passionate and curious about landscape architecture, someone motivated to produce exceptional work, and someone eager to continue their growth as a designer.
As our new Landscape Architect, you will step into a highly experienced team where you can learn from senior leaders while building your own capability across a diverse project mix. Working within a collaborative team, you will support the delivery of high-quality projects across a range of sectors, including public domain, open space, master planning, education and health, and urban precincts, contributing both technically and creatively. You will assist in project delivery from concept through to documentation, helping shape design outcomes while building your technical knowledge of materials, construction methodology and standards.
We're looking for an enthusiastic, inquisitive and collaborative Landscape Architect with growing design capability, developing technical expertise and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
