Job summary
Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development in Queensland is seeking a Land Research Officer (AO4) to support native title and Indigenous land matters. Qualifications
- Undertake tenure research and analysis, interpret land tenure information, prepare briefs, reports and court documents.
- Support negotiations relating to native title claims, compensation claims and Indigenous Land Use Agreements.
- Maintain accurate records using departmental systems and collaborate with stakeholders across government, industry and Indigenous communities.
Responsibilities
- Undertake tenure research and analysis, interpret land tenure information, prepare briefs, reports and court documents.
- Support negotiations relating to native title claims, compensation claims and Indigenous Land Use Agreements.
- Research legislation, policy and procedures and maintain accurate records using departmental systems.
