Qualifications

• Understanding health and safety regulations in landscaping.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and staff.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather; physically demanding.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple sites.
• Qualifications or certifications in landscaping/horticulture/land management advantageous.

We are seeking an experienced Land Care Services Lead to join MBS FM Pty Ltd in Albury, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage our land care and landscaping operations. As Land Care Services Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our landscaping and gardening services, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal to our business success and offers the chance to make a real impact on our service delivery and team performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor the land care services team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Plan, coordinate and oversee all landscaping and gardening projects, from initial assessment through to completion
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resource allocation to maximise efficiency and profitability
• Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations to clients on landscaping solutions and maintenance schedules
• Maintain and manage equipment and materials inventory, ensuring all tools are kept in excellent working condition
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices for all land care services
• Liaise with clients to understand their requirements, manage expectations and build long-term relationships
• Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to support professional development
• Contribute to business growth by identifying new service opportunities and improving operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience in landscaping, gardening or land care services, with a proven track record in a supervisory or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of landscape design principles, horticulture, plant species and seasonal maintenance practices
• Proficiency in the use of landscaping equipment and machinery, with the ability to operate and maintain tools safely
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to the landscaping and gardening industry
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, staff and stakeholders
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in landscaping, horticulture or land management would be highly advantageous
