Job summary

Saab Australia seeks a Land Technical Support Officer to provide hands-on technical support across Land support projects, ensuring complex systems and test facilities are operational and ready for testing and integration.

You will work with engineering, project management and customer teams on activation, fault diagnosis, maintenance and system support in a fast-paced defence environment. Safety, quality and configuration management are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance and fault-finding of electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support activation, configuration and operation of system elements for testing.
• Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance and demand maintenance activities.
• Diagnose faults across electronic, electrical, electro-mechanical, hardware and software components.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, testing and acceptance activities.
• Support system integration and verification and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain system baselines and records.
