Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with a B1 or B2 category to join our Engineering team in a FIFO role with a 20 days on / 20 days off roster. You will perform heavy and line maintenance on DHC8 Classic aircraft, ensuring maintenance, documentation and certification comply with MOE and CAMO requirements.

The successful candidate will value safety, collaboration and customer context, and will hold full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) with B1 or B2 category.
• Experience in heavy and line maintenance.
• DHC8 Classic type rating is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
• Ensure maintenance, documentation and certification are carried out in line with the MOE, procedures and CAMO requirements.
• Prioritize safety and participate in safety programs to promote a zero-harm culture.
• Perform shift handovers and ensure timely handovers of tasks.
• Complete Critical Maintenance Tasks with proper control procedures before CRS issue.
