Job summary

Labourforce are seeking experienced Cold Storage High Reach Forklift Operators to work for our client in Welshpool. Must have High Reach and Double Deep experience, plus freezer environment exposure.

Role involves 6am or 2pm starts on a Mon-Fri roster, casual loading with $37 per hour plus an hourly freezer allowance. Immediate starts and temp-to-perm opportunities available for suitable candidates.

• Excellent pick-pack experience in a busy distribution centre
• Experience using RF scanners and pick sheets

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads

Responsibilities

• Operate high-reach forklift in a freezer environment (-18°C).
• Pick/pack food products and manage stock using RF scanners and pick sheets.
• Meet KPI targets and maintain accuracy in order picking and packing.
• Work a Monday–Friday roster with AM or PM shifts (6am or 2pm starts).
• Temp-to-perm opportunity with potential for permanent long-term placement.

Labourforce are currently seeking experienced COLD STORAGE High Reach Forklift Operators to work for our client in WELSHPOOL. Must have HIGH REACH and DOUBLE DEEP experience!

About the role:

• Must be able to work a roster from Monday - Friday


• AM & PM Shifts on Offer (6am OR 2pm starts)


• Pay rate from $37p/h (casual loading included) + hourly freezer allowance


• Freezer environment, pick packing food products on a high reach forklift, using double deep reach (-18 degrees)


• Immediate starts available!

You will need:

• Unlimited working rights in Australia (hours are full time, no WHV or Student Visas due to restrictions)


• High Reach Forklift operator experience essential (minumum of 2 years in Australia)


• Double Deep Forklift Reach experience essential (minumum of 1 year in Australia)


• Experience working in a Freezer environment is essential (-18 degrees). A freezer suit will be supplied to you.


• Have excellent recent pick pack experience in busy DC


• Experience using RF scanners and pick sheets


• Previous experience with and able to meet KPI's


• Have excellent attention to detail


• Be computer literate


• Have good written and verbal communication skills


• Be fit, healthy and able to perform heavy lifting when required


• High level of pride in work


• Ability to work well within a team environment
