Job summary

701 Recruitment is seeking Civil Labourers and General Labourers for ongoing opportunities across North Brisbane. Immediate starts available with casual hourly rates from $33-$37 per hour, depending on role and experience.

This is ongoing work with Monday–Friday options and opportunities for long-term employment. Ideal candidates will have civil or general labouring experience, a current White Card, and the ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test.

Qualifications

• Current White Card for civil construction opportunities.
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test (mandatory for certain roles).

Responsibilities

• Civil Labouring: General civil labouring and site support.
• Assisting with conduits, kerbs, footpaths and bio basins.
• Grade checking, levelling and site preparation.
• Spotting plant and assisting machinery operators.
• Retaining wall and concrete sleeper installation assistance.
• General site clean-up and maintaining a safe work environment.

• Working alongside a team to meet daily targets

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking individuals
• Previous civil, construction, warehouse or general labouring experience highly regarded
• Current White Card for civil construction opportunities
• Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Roller operating experience and relevant tickets highly regarded for suitable civil projects
• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol test (mandatory for certain roles)
• Own reliable transport and driver's licence highly regarded
