Job summary

Complete Staff Solutions is seeking reliable Labourers for light furniture assembly across classrooms in South-West Sydney, starting immediately. You will unpack, assemble desks and chairs, and position them in classrooms with onsite training.

The position is casual for 2 weeks with potential to extend up to 8 weeks, with Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm and a 30-minute lunch. Travel between sites and wearing safety gear are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s licence.
• Own reliable vehicle to travel between job sites.
• Own a White Card.
• Steel-capped safety boots.
• Experience using a cordless drill and assembling furniture, or willingness to learn.
• Reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Flexibility to travel to various locations throughout South-West Sydney.
• Hard hat desirable; high-visibility vests supplied.

Responsibilities

• Unpack and move boxes containing desks and chairs.
• Assemble furniture using cordless drills and basic hand tools.
• Place furniture in designated classroom locations.
• Remove packaging and manage waste.

We are seeking motivated Labourers – easy Furniture Assemblers to assist with unpacking, assembling and positioning desks and chairs in classrooms around Narellan and South-West Sydney.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in their work and can work effectively as part of a team.

• Unpacking and moving boxes containing desks and chairs.
• Assembling furniture using cordless drills and basic hand tools.
• Placing furniture in designated classroom locations.
• Removing packaging and managing waste.

• Working as part of a team, with onsite training provided.

There may be a break between projects; however, further opportunities may be available for reliable candidates who are willing and able to travel between sites.
