Job summary

Living Gems in Parkhurst, Queensland, is seeking reliable Labourers and Skilled Labourers to join our construction team on a local project. If you're hardworking, with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.

You will maintain a clean, safe site, assist with general labouring, operate power tools, support tradespeople, and follow health and safety procedures. A White Card and a current driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent construction site experience.
• Demonstrated experience using power tools on site.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or in a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Current Driver's Licence and White Card are required.
• Excellent communication skills on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite


• Assist with general labouring duties as directed


• Safely operate power tools and construction equipment


• Support tradespeople and site supervisors to ensure projects run efficiently


• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures

About You:

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience working on construction sites


• Demonstrated experience using power tools


• Be reliable and trustworthy with the ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety


• Have excellent communication skills


• Be reliable, punctual and have a hardworking attitude


• General knowledge of the construction industry and environmental principles and relevant legislation/standards.


• Current Drivers Licence


• Construction Industry Card (White Card)
