Job summary

Our client is a leading infrastructure and civil construction contractor delivering major road and transport projects across regional Queensland. This role involves working away from home for up to two weeks at a time, assisting with road construction tasks, supporting asphalt crews, manual labour, site clean-up and general civil works.

You will work with an experienced team, focusing on safety and productivity, with competitive hourly rates and opportunities to transition to a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Current White Card is required or in progress.
• Experience in road construction, civil works or asphalt labouring.
• Physically fit with ability to handle manual labour.
• Willingness to work away from home up to two weeks at a time.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Hold a valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
• Able to work effectively within a team and provide contactable references.

Responsibilities

• Assist with road maintenance, civil construction and asphalt projects.
• Support asphalt crews and perform manual labour tasks.
• Participate in site clean-up and general civil works.
• Work closely with an experienced crew on major projects.
• Maintain safety and productivity on site.

Your new role

We are currently seeking experienced Road Construction Labourers to join a busy crew working across road maintenance, civil construction, and asphalt projects throughout regional Queensland. This role will involve working away from home for up to two weeks at a time, assisting with a variety of road construction tasks, supporting asphalt crews, manual labour, site clean-up, and general civil works. You will work closely with an experienced team on major infrastructure projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity.

• Previous road construction, civil, or asphalt labouring experience


• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties


• Ability to work away from home for up to two weeks at a time


• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
