Job summary

Hays Recruitment on the South Sunshine Coast is seeking reliable Labourers to support civil and commercial construction teams. You will perform site maintenance, assist tradespeople, operate hand and power tools, and help with general property and landscape tasks.

The role offers flexible hours, weekly pay, PPE provided, and opportunities to upskill with tickets. Valid White/Blue Card and current Driver's Licence are preferred, along with working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Valid QLD Construction Safety Card (White Card / Blue Card).
• Proven 6 months experience on civil and/or commercial sites.
• Working rights in Australia.
• Working references for last 6–12 months.
• Current Driver's Licence and own transport.
• Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Site maintenance and clean-up.

Your new company Hays Recruitment are specialists in the Building and Construction industry on the South Sunshine Coast / North Brisbane Region / Moreton Bay Region. Working with some of the Coast's most reputable commercial and civil building companies and contractors, we supply to projects including education facilities and schools, high-end luxury units and houses, aged care facilities, and road / bridge / subdivision projects. Our clients are regularly commencing new works and needing enthusiastic labour hire workers to assist their teams.

Your new role

Duties including but not limited to:

• Site maintenance and clean-up
• Assisting tradespeople on site
• Operating various hand and power tools
• General property and landscape maintenance
• Manual handling

What you'll need to succeed

• Valid QLD Construction Safety Card (White Card / Blue Card)
• Proven 6 months experience working on civil and/or commercial construction sites
• Working rights in Australia
• Working references covering the last 6 - 12months
• Current Driver's Licence and own reliable transport
• Ability to pass medical, drug and alcohol testing as required
• Additional tickets/qualifications would be advantageous.
