Job summary

ALS Environmental in Townsville (Kirwan) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Metals team. You will receive on-the-job training across analytical processes and quality procedures while supporting the preparation and analysis of environmental samples.

The ideal candidate has a genuine interest in science, either a university or TAFE qualification, and good attention to detail. ICP-MS experience is advantageous; strong communication and time management are essential.

Qualifications

• A genuine interest in science with University or TAFE qualifications.
• Experience with ICP-MS is advantageous.
• High attention to detail with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Understanding of good laboratory practices and computer literacy.

You’ll receive on-the-job training across a wide range of analytical processes, laboratory techniques and quality procedures, while working as part of a supportive and experienced team. In this role, you’ll play an important part in delivering accurate, high-quality results for our clients through the preparation and analysis of environmental samples.If you’re a self-motivated person, excited to join a dynamic global company that can offer training, development and a rewarding career path, then we’re keen to hear from you!This is a position on a week-by-week rotating roster.
