Job summary

Based in Winston Hills, Boral Limited is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our Technical Services Team. You will conduct sampling of construction materials, prepare test samples, perform trail mixing, and analyse test results.

Reporting to the Laboratory Section Head, you will ensure safety and compliance with NATA accreditation, maintain records, and support continuous improvement in testing methods and data reporting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Based in Winston Hills, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our Technical Services Team. Working as part of a team, this role reports directly to the Laboratory Section Head.

Duties involve undertaking sampling of construction materials, preparation of test samples, trail mixing, testing and physical analysis of these samples, reporting of test results and maintenance of records.

The main responsibilities include:

• Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
• Prescribed calibrations and checks of laboratory test equipment.
• Maintain, observe, and participate in the statutory Safety requirements of the Laboratory.
• Maintenance of the Laboratory NATA accreditation requirements.
• Other duties as directed by the Section Head
• Working with concrete and other construction materials
