Job summary

GOW Recruitment is seeking an experienced KYC Analyst to join our client operations team in Sydney. You will manage KYC reviews and account maintenance across diverse client profiles, ensuring accurate and compliant information throughout the client lifecycle.

You will conduct Enhanced Due Diligence and PEP reviews, review documentation for gaps, and respond to internal stakeholder requests while contributing to process improvements within a funds management context.

Qualifications

• Experience in KYC, AML/CTF, client onboarding or lifecycle management
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking or related discipline
• Strong knowledge of KYC processes
• Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with stakeholders at all levels

Responsibilities

• Manage KYC review and account maintenance processes across a range of client risk profiles
• Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) and Politically Exposed Person (PEP) reviews
• Review client documentation and identify missing, inconsistent or incomplete information
• Complete periodic and event-driven KYC reviews within required timeframes
• Maintain accurate records of client reviews, approvals and supporting documentation
• Respond to queries and requests from Compliance, Financial Crime, Audit and other internal stakeholders
• Manage account maintenance across a range of client types and account structures
• Contribute to remediation, process improvement and change initiatives
