Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Platform Engineer to develop and maintain Kubernetes controllers and CRDs, write Go code for platform services, and configure Argo CD workflows. The role focuses on improving GitOps practices, enabling teams to deploy and operate applications on Kubernetes more reliably, in a hybrid environment.

The successful candidate will have strong Kubernetes, CRD, and Go skills, with hands-on Argo CD experience and a practical, collaborative approach to transforming platform

Qualifications

• Platform engineering experience focused on building and improving shared technical platforms.
• Strong experience developing Kubernetes controllers and custom resource definitions.
• Hands-on Go language development for cloud-native tooling.
• Experience using Argo CD to manage GitOps-based deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Kubernetes controllers and CRDs to extend platform functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable Go code for platform services, automation and controller logic.
• Configure and maintain Argo CD workflows to enable consistent application deployment.
• Improve GitOps practices so platform changes are traceable and easier to manage.
• Design platform components that simplify deployment and operation on Kubernetes.
• Investigate and resolve issues across Kubernetes controllers, CRDs and deployment workflows.
• Document platform patterns, configuration and operating guidance for shared tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate platform needs into practical Kubernetes-based solutions.
