The role operates a Day Shift from 4:00am to 3:00pm on-site, contributing to a busy production team focused on quality and safety across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Prep areas for the next shift and support supervisors as needed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Knife Sharpener to join our team in Kilcoy. In this role, you will support production workers by maintaining and sharpening knives, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Additionally, you will assist with facility operations, including forklift deliveries and stock management.

ROSTER

• Day Shift - 4:00am to 3:00pm.

RENUMERATION

$26.95 - $29.84

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist production workers with knife sharpening and maintain hygiene and safety in sharpening areas per QA standards.
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups in collaboration with laundry staff.
• Organise storage systems and assist with stock counts.
• Follow department schedules, including tasks and break times.
• Support colleagues by prepping areas for the next shift and completing additional tasks as requested by supervisors.

• Proficient in knife sharpening with strong attention to detail.
• Experienced in cleaning and maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
