Job summary

Kilcoy Global Foods in Kilcoy, Queensland, is seeking a Knife Sharpener to support production by sharpening knives, maintaining hygiene, and ensuring QA standards. You will also help with routine facility operations, including coordinating deliveries and stock management.

The role offers day shifts from 4:00am to 3:00pm with an hourly rate in the mid-$20s. Training is provided, and you’ll join a diverse team that values collaboration, safety, and efficient workflow.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Knife Sharpener to join our team in Kilcoy. In this role, you will support production workers by maintaining and sharpening knives, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. Additionally, you will assist with facility operations, including forklift deliveries and stock management.

ROSTER

• Day Shift - 4:00am to 3:00pm.

RENUMERATION

$26.95 - $29.84

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist production workers with knife sharpening and maintain hygiene and safety in sharpening areas per QA standards.
• Coordinate deliveries and pickups in collaboration with laundry staff.
• Organise storage systems and assist with stock counts.
• Follow department schedules, including tasks and break times.
• Support colleagues by prepping areas for the next shift and completing additional tasks as requested by supervisors.
