Job summary

Kmart Group is seeking a Department Manager to lead teams across merchandising, replenishment and customer service, delivering high standards and safe store operations in a dynamic retail environment.

You will use data and coaching to motivate staff, optimize processes and enhance customer experience, while upholding company policies and driving strong results. This role is based in a busy retail store and offers career progression within the Kmart Group network.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a retail environment (preferred).
• Strong ability to translate data and metrics into actionable improvements.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across store teams.

Kmart Department Managers are crucial to our success, leading teams to deliver high standards of customer experience through effective merchandising, replenishment, and customer service.

Requiring strong product knowledge and the ability to adapt to changing priorities, whilst ensuring a safe and compliant store environment through effective process execution and team leadership.

As both process leaders and implementers of key business initiatives, they confidently navigate complexity to keep the store running smoothly and deliver strong results.
