• Handle waste disposal and maintain tidy workspace.
• Assist with deliveries by checking and organizing incoming stock.
• Prepare service areas by replenishing buffet items and presentation.
• Support lounge operations by responding to chef requests during peak times.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure airport kitchen.

$27.09 Per Hour + penalties + 12% Superannuation

• Lounge operates 22 hours per day, Monday to Sunday (4:00am to 2:00am)
• Flexible start and finish times available to suit operational needs
• Average roster of 20 to 30 hours per week

The Position

• Support food preparation by assisting chefs with basic prep, portioning and plating
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness through thorough washing up, equipment cleaning and end‑of‑shift reset
• Uphold hygiene standards by following strict food safety and airport compliance procedures
• Manage stock rotation and restocking independently to ensure freshness and accuracy
• Handle waste disposal responsibly, including sorting, compacting and maintaining a tidy workspace
• Assist with deliveries by checking, unpacking and organising incoming stock
• Prepare service areas by replenishing buffet items and ensuring presentation standards are met
• Support lounge operations by responding quickly to chef requests during peak flight times
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure, compliant airport kitchen environment
